'summer happiness' 3 inch embroidery hoop
This hoop is part of the summer collection and is titled ‘summer happiness’. The piece aims to reflect the care-free summer vibe, working on a soft pastel base with bright pink and turquoise beads and threads.
The embroidery is inspired by an abstract view of a coral reef, examining the intricacies of the coral through 3D beading. Glass beads, cotton thread and sequins have been stitched onto a yellow chiffon base.
The artwork has been framed in a 3 inch embroidery hoop. The piece has a depth of 2.5cm(including the beads!). Every embroidery is signed and dated on the back of the hoop.
There is an option to purchase the embroidery with the handmade wooden stand. These stands are great for displaying your hoop on a bookcase, side table or shelving unit. Equally the hoop can be displayed without the stand, hanging the hoop on the wall with a nail or hook style command strip.
