Welcome to the imogen melissa bead box. Every 3 months a new bead box launches, with a selection of beads and a beady project inside for you to dive straight into. The bead boxes are aimed at customers who have completed an imogen melissa kit previously and have some beading knowledge.
The April bead box is all about celebrating the joy of spring in cheerful yellow tones. The box has a wide selection of beads and sequins to create a floral themed hoop. It’s a real joy to bead.
You can work the palette in the 3-inch pink hoop inside the box or go for a bigger hoop. Please note the 5-inch embroidery hoop in the photos is not included. I would highly recommend beading it in the 5-inch hoop, it was a lot of fun!
Inside the April Bead Box:
15 bead & sequin packets in yellow, cream & white

1 piece of soft yellow linen
1 piece of calico fabric
1 pale yellow beading thread
1 yellow chunky cotton yarn
1 bobbin of cream DMC beading thread
1 pink 3-inch embroidery hoop
Each bead bag contains 4g of seed beads, while the sequins contain 1g.
To have everything you’ll need to dive straight into this box, you just need to add a set of beading needles. You can add these on the listing, choosing between short, long or split eye. I’d recommend the chenille needle for the embroidery with the cotton yarn and embroidery thread.
